Sporty

Food for an active life.

A contemporary café concept in the sports pavilion of a new family-focused park, alongside padel and streetball courts. A welcoming stop for players, runners, cyclists and anyone spending time in the park.

Product concept

Familiar everyday food, thoughtfully balanced for an active lifestyle. Wraps, bowls, salads and sandwiches offer a quick bite, a satisfying lunch or a post-workout meal. The drinks menu brings together specialty coffee, matcha, house-made electrolyte drinks and bottled juice blends with ingredients such as ginger, turmeric and lemon.

Brand experience

A friendly visual identity with a subtle retro feel, expressing energy and movement. Colourful bottled drinks create an inviting display, while distinctive takeaway packaging makes the brand visible throughout the park. Outreach to local running and cycling clubs was built into the launch and community-building strategy.

My role

Concept developer

Commissioned by the architectural team behind the park, I developed the complete concept, from audience research and brand strategy to the menu, kitchen layout, financial model and launch plan. The work also covered packaging, guest and staff journeys, and briefs for the interior and identity designers.
